About this role:

We are seeking a Treasurer to join our Board of Directors. This volunteer role involves working with PEI ATV Federation Board of Directors and Executive Director to oversee and approve financial information, ensure best practices are being met (according to government and legal standards) and, with the support of the board and staff, help create financially sustainable strategies for the organization. The treasurer may choose to focus entirely on this role,  but is welcome to join other committees at PEI ATV Federation.

PEIATVF is governed by a working board that operates as a Umbrella Advocacy Organization for our 9 member ATV Clubs. The Treasurer is responsible for ‘in-person’ financial reports at each monthly board meeting.

Is this role for me?

If you have experience in business, accounting, bookkeeping, financial planning or management, we’d love to hear from you. This is a great opportunity for a business-oriented candidate interested in using existing expertise to support PEI largest trail organization. The treasurer role is also an opportunity for a business-oriented candidate in the early stages of their career who is looking to build experience and/or broaden their portfolio. We are seeking a candidate available for a minimum of 5-6 hours a month. 

Serving on the Board of Directors of outdoor enthusiasts, a PEIATVF board position is also a great way to make connections, friendships and contribute to developing PEI’s newest Tourism Experience.
