Volunteer position available   

The Shooting Federation of Canada (SFC) (part of Canada’s Olympic program) (charitable donation number 107978637 RR 0001) is looking for volunteer Finance Committee members.

They are searching for people from outside the sport to help govern the sports administration and activities.  This will be an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow in their knowledge of volunteer committees.

The corporate address and office is in Ottawa, however the Finance Committee is virtual with members from across the country.

The Finance Committee is an oversight group to provide guidance and monitoring of the organization’s financial operations. The committee meets 4 times a year to review the quarterly statements as well as providing input on the budget proposal for the coming year. There may also be an occasional call for a group discussion about specific financial situations.
