Volunteer Opportunity with Music PEI

Music PEI is the not-for-profit music industry association for the province. This organization is dedicated to further developing the careers of island musicians and organizes a number of yearly events including Music PEI week and Canadian Song Conference.

Our board meets monthly (2nd Tuesday of the month) via Zoom. We are currently looking for a new board member with accounting experience who can fill the role as treasurer. As treasurer and a member of the Board's executive committee, you will assist in providing financial oversight and contribute to upholding the organization's mission. The organization has a paid bookkeeper on staff and the previous treasurer was a CPA.

This is a volunteer position and as a board member, you will have the opportunity to attend MPEI events and performances throughout the year with PEI's top talent.
